Construction Management Software Limited (CMS) was formed in October 2002 and are developers of the CMS Contractor range of construction industry software. Modules range through Estimating, Subcontractor and Supplier Enquiries and Valuations and these directly integrate with Purchasing, Subcontractor, Contract Sales and Contract Management (Job Costing).

Recognising that the specific industry requirements are met by the above modules it was decided that the best method of completing the overall solution would be to integrate with leading core financial systems such as Sage, Exchequer, Access, MS Dynamics Nav and others.

The original version of the software has been developed using Microsoft VB6 utilising a Microsoft Access database (Corporate Version).

The latest version of the software aimed at the larger user has been developed using Microsoft Visual Studio (VB.NET) utilising Microsoft SQL Server database (Enterprise Version).

CMS are continuing to develop further industry specific modules such as plant hire, planned/reactive maintenance, document management and drawing register systems. In addition there are comprehensive links with ASTA PowerProject project planning.
